Wedding Receptions
Whether your disco is held in a local Village Hall near Worthing or a Grand Hotel in London, David Shaw Leisure will make sure it is a party to remember.Our aim - To make your evening special
- Music - Well before the special day we will talk to you and advise you about the kind of music for your reception. Most important of all we will need to know which piece of music is going to be your First Dance, whether it is a romantic slow song or something more upbeat and fun.
- We will liaise with you over the timing of the evening so that events run smoothly.
- We can set up early so that you can use our PA for your speeches!
- We can organise the cutting of the cake.
- We are always available to talk about your special day.
Birthday Parties
For all ages - a playful disco party for your 18th Birthday or a relaxful party for your 70th birthday, we have the music for you.Our aim - To make sure you have a really great night to remember
- Preparation - We will talk to you about your requirements for the evening, whether you just want a party or have a themed night in mind.
- Disco Lights - We always bring along a good selection of different disco lights. We only use strobe if requested.
- Music - We carry a large selection of music from the 50's to the present day. We will play that special track just for you.
- Organise singing Happy Birthday and presenting the Birthday cake.
- Surprise Birthday Party - no problem, we will make it special for that special person.
- With a small extra on-cost we can personalise your celebration with a visual presentation using computer projection technology.
Corporate Events
We will compere/present your event for you. Use visual presentations with the aid of computers and DVD, provide music for dancing. - Get to know the children. - Before the party starts we always talk to the birthday boy or girl to get to know them and put them at ease and to find out what music they like.
- Lots of prizes - We play games and competitions and give away lots of prizes. (Not just to the winners!)
- We bring lots of different lighting effects - Whatever their age, children love all the disco lights. The little children are fascinated and the bigger ones get the feel of a night club.

Pubs and Clubs
With our huge selection of disco music and expertise (we have worked at many Worthing venues as well as all over the country) David Shaw Leisure, of Worthing, can fulfil your requirements from specialised music to pub jukebox. We have many years experience in pubs and clubs presenting party nights and specialised music nights, from 70's disco to modern rock.
Our DJ's have worked in Worthing in such places as Lush, Liquid Lounge, Tides, The Grand Victorian Hotel and The Waterfront to name a few.
They have experience in clubs all over South East England such as Top Rank, Metro and Cinderellas, Lush and Sundowners in London. David Shaw has also worked in radio and nightclubs in France, Germany, Denmark and Norway.
Whatever your requirements, simply a Disco or a pub jukebox with DVD presentation, our Video DJs can cover it.
Hotels
We have worked at many Hotels in Sussex and the surrounding areas going right up into Central London. We cater for all their requirements - Weddings, Parties, Corporate events, or entertaining the Coach Parties. We have worked as far away as Manchester (Palace Hotel) and Liverpool (Adelphi Hotel). Also at many London Hotels, including various Hiltons, The Dorchester and The Selfridge in Oxford Street.Hotels in Sussex include:
